Players from Seaford Rugby Club swapped their shirts for stockings when they took part in a pantomime to raise funds for charity.
The Seaford Rugby Club Charity Players performed three shows at the beginning of the year and recently handed over a cheque to Seaford Down’s Syndrome and Special Needs Support Group (SDSSNSG). The adult only panto called B’stard was loosely based on Robin Hood and directed by Paul Ungoed. The pantomime helped to raise £750 for the cause and this was matched by Barclays Bank. A further £750 was also donated by the players to the Matt Hampson Foundation.
Dionne Davies from SDSSNSG said, “It’s a fantastic amount for them to raise.”
