The pancake race through Eastbourne’s shopping precinct in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice is back for the sixth year running.

Pancake flippers are invited to run in relay teams between Coffee Republic and Monsoon in Eastbourne’s Terminus Road.

The race will take place at 1pm on February 17.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice is calling on local businesses to sign up in teams of four to compete in the charity race. Fancy dress is encouraged but participants in are more than welcome to wear their company uniform.

Each team will compete in heats, battling it out for a place in our final, and for the opportunity to win the coveted pancake race trophy.

The Langham Hotel is providing the pancakes, but each team will need to come equipped with their own frying pan.

The pancake race is free to enter, but the hospice asks that each team collects a minimum sponsorship of £100. Every penny raised on the day will go directly towards supporting patients and their families.
