The Moira House nursery has been rated as outstanding in its latest report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
The private nursery, which caters for children aged from three months to five years, is celebrating the successful result.
It was ranked outstanding in three and good in one of the four categories in the recent ISI Inspection.
The report stated, “The setting makes outstanding provision in meeting the needs of the range of children who attend.”
Inspectors went on to describe the provision for the children’s well-being as ‘outstanding’ .
It added, “The staff provide exemplary role models for considerate, caring behaviour.”
It also praised the children’s happiness, health and safety, which are of ‘prime importance at the nursery’.
The report said the team at the nursery were ‘committed’ and fully aware of children’s individual abilities.
Inspectors said, “Experiences, both indoors and outside, give the children many learning opportunities so that they reach their expected levels of development in all areas. The high expectations set by the staff for children’s independence and behaviour are fully achieved.”
The inspectors said the children were also offered a wide selection of health foods at lunch and snack times. Staff and children celebrated with a special party.

Mrs Hughes, head of the nursery, added, “I am delighted to work with a highly professional and caring team.”
