LITTLE ones at Old Town’s Children Centre have been given a boost after Eastbourne Police handed over a cheque for £300.
The money will be used to fund the equipment in the outdoor play area.
Kasia Rudnicka, PCSO for Old Town area, said, “This money will be a big help towards getting equipment to keep the children entertained at the local centre and will hopefully bring some smiles to their faces.”
A spokesperson for the Children’s Centre added, “This is fantastic! The support is so much appreciated.
“The funding will go towards purchasing a climbing frame for the play area outside for the children.”
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), which is made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
