Have your say

Chipsters, it’s that time of year again - it’s tennis time!

Lots of the really famous tennis players we see on the television and in magazines are coming to our town. It’s so exciting!

I love going along to Devonshire Park to watch, especially if it’s a sunny day and I can lie out on the grass in between matches and eat strawberries and cream and lick ice lollies.

You have to make sure you’re super quiet while watching the tennis though, so the players don’t get distracted. They always seem to make a lot of noise when they hit the ball though, which seems a bit unfair to me...

A sport you can make a lot of noise while watching is football and I’m really excited about the World Cup starting this week too. I am sad though because England’s first game doesn’t start until really late at night and my mummy and daddy won’t let me stay up past my bed time to watch it.

I would love England to win the World Cup - we would be the best team in the whole wide world! I think we should win because our mascot is a lion and they’re the scariest and strongest animal out there. I think it will be hard to beat Brazil, Argentina and Spain though - I’ve heard they’re really good.

Will you be going to a special England World Cup party or do you have a new England shirt you want to show off? Or, will you be supporting the British players at the tennis? Send me your pictures so I can celebrate with you!

Come on England!
