Rescheduled elections for East Ward on Seaford Town Council will take place on Thursday, June 25.

Nominations for candidates open on Wednesday, May 20, and close on Friday, May 29, at 4pm.

The elections have been rescheduled following the sudden death prior to the May 7 polling day of Conservative candidate John Boots.

The deadline for new applications to be included in the register of electors is June 29.

June 10 is the last day for applications to vote by post.

East Ward residents will receive their polling cards (where not voting by post) direct from Lewes District Council, on which will be the details of the polling station - either St Luke’s Church Hall or Seaford Head School Huts (Sutton Avenue entrance).

Any questions regarding the elections should be directed to Lewes District Council’s Electoral Services Department on 01273 471 600.
