Mystery over injured teen cyclist

Police are trying to establish how a cyclist came to be injured in an incident in Eastbourne.

The 17-year-old boy was discovered lying by his bike in Rodmill Drive at 6.35pm on Wednesday (October 9).PC Dave Catt from the Road Policing Unit said, “It’s really not clear how he came to be injured and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him in the area at that time or saw what caused him to come off his bike. Please call us on 101 or e-mail contact.centre@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1388 of 09/10.”

The injured boy was taken to the DGH for treatment to his injuries, which include a suspected broken wrist.
