The Environment Agency has been informed after a motorcycle caught on fire outside a McDonald’s this afternoon (August 15).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the fast-food chain at the Drove Retail Park, in Newhaven.

A spokesman said they were called at 2.03pm to the site and used foam to extinguish the bike.

The Environment Agency has been contacted so the area can be checked for pollution from the fire.
