Police recovered more than 100 cannabis plants after raiding a property in Eastbourne on Monday (November 23)

Police were called after a gas man discovered a cannabis factory at a property in Hyde Road in Eastbourne on Monday, November 23.

Around 120 cannabis plants and equipment were found. The plants and equipment were seized and officers are investigating.

No-one has been arrested at this stage. Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or has information is asked to contact police on 101@sussex.pnn.police quoting serial 444 of 23/11.

Residents report seeing uniformed officers clearing the property on Tuesday.
