GLAMOUR model Katie Price’s uncle groped a teenager on the beach at Eastbourne, a court has heard.
Christopher Price took the 15-year-old boy, who has learning difficulties, for a drive and fondled him on the beach.
School bus driver Price, 63, was convicted of abduction and sexual activity with a boy under 16 at Lewes Crown Court but was spared jail. Judge Charles Kemp said Price’s actions were “an aberration” and gave him a community order instead.
Price, a widower who lives in Lewes, is the uncle of the glamour model’s step-father Paul Price, who is married to her mother Amy.
Lewes Crown Court heard Price met his vulnerable victim on the beach in Eastbourne in June last year.
He befriended the boy, talked with him for more than two hours and then drove him along the seafront to another beach.
Once there, he cuddled him, touched his leg and ran his hand and along the boy’s trousers.
Judge Kemp said, “You tried to undo his belt but failed. You contented yourself with the touching.”
Eventually the boy begged Price to leave him alone and he let him go.
Price was convicted after a trial and was given a community order, told to sign the sex offenders register and banned from working with children for life.
