Police searching for missing Seaford boy Rhys Millerchip have arrested a woman in Warwickshire on suspicion of conspiracy to abduct a child in care.
Fourteen-year-old Rhys has not been seen since he left the town centre to walk to his nearby address on the morning of Tuesday, December 30.
In the early hours of Thursday morning (January 22), Warwickshire Police arrested a 33-year-old woman from Nuneaton on suspicion of conspiracy to abduct a child in care. She remained in custody on Thursday afternoon.
Rhys is white, 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black Nike trainers and a khaki green zip-up jacket.
Police are concerned for Rhys’s welfare because of his age and consequent vulnerability and believe that he may be in Warwickshire and in particular, the Nuneaton area.
He also has family and friends in the Sidcup and Welling areas of south-east London, where enquiries are also being made.
Anyone who has seen him or who knows where he might be is asked to call police on 101 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting serial 1116 of 30/12.
