Men from Eastbourne and Seaford charged with aggravated burglary

Eight people, including one from Eastbourne and one from Seaford, are facing charges of aggravated burglary.

Police were called out to a property in Lenham, Kent, just before midnight on April 26, after a report of a break-in.

It was also reported that some of the suspected burglars may have been in possession of weapons, including firearms.

Lee George Baker, 23, of Hoad Road, Eastbourne, and Nyake Joe Tommy Alieu, 31, of Church Street, Seaford, have both been charged with three counts of aggravated burglary and one count of assault.

Baker has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on August 5.

Alieu, who has also been remanded in custody, will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on July 21.
