A man had to be released from a vehicle after it left the road in Hailsham in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Firefighters and an ambulance attended the scene in Coldthorn Lane shortly before 1.30am.
A light commercial vehicle had left the road and a man in his 40s was trapped inside the cab department.
The man, who was fully conscious but complaining of chest pain, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
He was cut free by the fire service at 1.58am.
