Man robbed in vicious attack

A MAN was attacked, bitten by a dog and robbed by two thugs last Sunday night (August 28).

The victim was kicked from behind then hit on the head and kicked in the ribs when he fell to the ground.

He was also bitten on the back of his leg by the attackers’ dog.

The man was walking along Seabeach Lane, a gravel track at the back of the homes in Seaside, when he was attacked by the two men. They also stole £80 cash from him before running off towards Seaford Road. The victim flagged down a passing vehicle and was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital. He suffered suspected broken ribs and cuts and bruises.

One of the men is described as being tanned, aged between 27 and 30, around 6’ and stocky with short dark hair and wearing a leather jacket. The other man is described as 6’ and skinny. The dog is described as a bull terrier or mastiff, black and brown in colour with a black collar with silver triangular studs.
