A street robbery took place in Bourne Street last Saturday, and police are appealing for witnesses.

A 20-year-old man from Eastbourne was walking in Bourne Street at around 5.30pm on Saturday January 31, when he was approached by three teenagers.

They demanded money and threatened him before stealing his wallet and iPod.

Now Sussex Police are looking to speak with anyone with information about the attack.

DC Laura James said, “The victim was thankfully not injured in the robbery although he was pushed over. He describes the three teenagers as between 14 and 16.

“One was slim, white, around 5’8” with short brown hair and wearing a light grey hoody and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

“The second one was also slim, white and around 5’8” with short dark hair and wearing a dark coloured hoody and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

“The third one was white and also wearing a hoody.”
