A 33-year-old man was arrested following several reports of a man indecently exposing himself in Seaford.

Police issued an appeal for information following the recent incidents and responses led them to arresting and interviewing a man on Friday, October 3.

After interview, he was released on bail for officers to carry out further enquiries.

Seaford Police Sergeant Stuart Mullins said: “This male was identified as a possible suspect following our recent appeals for information and I am grateful to all those members of the public that responded to our appeals in the press and social media.

“At this time we are keeping an open mind as to whether this is the male responsible for all of the recent incidents and our enquiries are continuing to establish this.

“In the meantime I would continue to urge unaccompanied women to be wary of any suspicious men loitering at bus stops in the Seaford area and to report any such activity to police straight away.”
