An urgent appeal is being made for witnesses to an unprovoked attack by a group of youths on a young man in Seaford that left the victim requiring hospital treatment.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning (March 29), between 1am and 1.30am in Broad Street, between Sutton Park Road and Place Lane.
According to police, the 22 year-old victim was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital suffering from minor injuries.
The group of four teenagers believed to be responsible for the attack were described by the injured man as being white and aged around 15 years old.
His first attacker was said to be somewhere between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 8ins tall.
He was of slim build, had blond hair, and was wearing a hooded top and jeans.
The second youth was of around 6ft, of slim build, and had short dark black hair.
He was wearing a smart casual hooded jumper and jeans.
According to the victim, the third person was described as being between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 8ins, of slim to medium build, and with short light brown hair. He was casually dressed. The fourth youth involved in the incident was also of slim build and was casually dressed.
