Woman seriously injured after Herstmonceux collision

A driver went through a garden wall in Hailsham Road.

An elderly woman suffered serious injuries after her car hit a garden wall in Herstmonceux.

The collision happened around 9.30am today (Friday) in Hailsham Road and the woman had to be cut out of her car.

The incident led to trafic delays in both directions. One lane had re-opened by 10.30am and the other shortly afterwards.
