Wheelie bin fire warning

Firefighters are warning people not to put hot ashes in wheelie bins after a fire broke out at the weekend.

The homeowner had to grab a hose and tackle the blaze himself after hot ashes sparked a fire right next to his home in Willoughby Crescent on Saturday at 7.23pm.

Fire crews made sure the fire was completely out.
