An Eastbourne photographer helped the homeless at Christmas by donating his own branded beanies.

Luke Woodford has been helping the homeless by supplying food and clothing for the last eight years. He decided to get involved after seeing a Facebook post asking for some clothes to be donated.

He said, “When she did that status I actually realised that I didn’t have any clothes to donate but I’ve got some beanies.”

The beanies come from his clothing business ‘Lucas’ which has been running for six months.

Ten big brands have also supported the cause, including Asda, New Look, Topman and Gillette.

On Christmas Day, Male Concept Eastbourne contacted Luke after they spotted his posts on Facebook and told him that he could send homeless people to them for free haircuts.

If you’d like to get involved with helping the homeless then contact the Salvation Army – Eastbourne Citadel at 01323 640 382.
