Eastbourne Herald reporters have been able to buy so called legal highs from a shop in the town.

We paid £10 for a 1g package of Black Mamba Ultra which can cause sickness and fits if taken by young people.

The package has now been handed over to Eastbourne Police, which has launched a crackdown on such substances and is calling on traders locally to stop selling legal highs because it is not yet known what they contain and unsuspecting people face serious health risks by taking them.

Annemarie Field speaks to police inspector Rachel Barrow.
