VIDEO: David Cameron visits Eastbourne Pier and praises emergency services

Prime Minister David Cameron and chancellor George Osborne were in Eastbourne this morning (Friday) paying tribute to members of the emergency services involved in fighting Wednesday’s blaze.

The political heavy weights visited Eastbourne lifeboat station and the fire station in Whitley Road. Their visit came as the government pledged £2 million to Eastbourne Borough Council to help businesses affected by the blaze and boost tourism.
