A man and a woman have been arrested at an address in Seaford on suspicion of indecent assault in connection with a historic sex abuse investigation.
Officers attached to Operation Pallial arrested the 63-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman at an address in Seaford last Thursday (August 22).
The offences, on a boy, are alleged to have taken place between 1975 and 1976 when he was aged between 11 and 12 years old.
Operation Pallial is an investigation led by Keith Bristow, Director General of the National Crime Agency, into recent allegations of historical abuse in the care system in North Wales.
The arrests are the sixth and seventh conducted by members of Operation Pallial. To date, one person has been charged with a total of 32 serious sexual offences.
The man and woman from Seaford have been bailed until December 4, pending further enquiries.
