An Eastbourne musician has set her sights set on singing stardom after her videos have become a hit on YouTube.

Tiffany Robinson has uploaded a series of original songs and cover versions to the video-sharing website, with her rendition of Lorde’s hit ‘Royals’ attracting more than 1,500 views in a month.

Tiffany, who attended Causeway School and Sussex Downs College, has been singing since she was 11 and is now studying at the London College of Music - a fantastic achievement in itself considering she was forced to deal with a traumatic family incident when she was just 10 years old.

Now, the 19-year-old is looking to break into the music industry by entering any competition she can, including The X Factor and BBC’s The Voice.

Tiffany, who currently does many Open Mic Nights and even dabbles in stand-up comedy, said, “My vision is to sell music for others to enjoy and to inspire other young people and the upcoming generation.”

Her mum Sue added, “She has come through this a very strong, determined young lady and managed to raise the bar for herself and deal with it. We, as a family, are very close and extremely supportive of each other and it would be nice to see all her hard work actually pay off.”

The Eastbourne teenager is currently looking to recruit an agent to help her on her journey to musical success. For more information, visit her YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/Baaamgirl.
