Two events are taking place in Eastbourne next week where the community has the chance to share their views on options put forward on how the future of maternity and paediatric services will be delivered in the long term at the DGH and Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
The six options were published by the three local Clinical Commissioning Groups who will make the decision on how the services will be delivered.
They do not include consultant-led maternity at both hospitals or in-patient paediatrics at both sites. Under each of the options, emergency gynaecology services would be located at the same site as obstetrics.
The first event in Eastbourne for the community to attend takes place at the DGH on January 30 between 9am - 4pm. The second in the town is on February 1 at the Arndale Centre from 9am - 5.30pm. For more information visit: www.betterbeginning-nhs.net
