A 49-year-old from Seaford has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident in a Brighton public toilet.
A woman, 49, was sleeping in the Pavilion Garden disabled toilet when she was attacked at about 9am on Sunday March 23.
Detective Sergeant Cheryl Lewendon, from Brighton CID, said, “We believe there were a number of people in the vicinity of the toilets around that time and we would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any other information about it.

The Seaford man was arrested on Saturday March 29 and bailed until May 28.
