Pupils at Heron Park Primary Academy donned bobble hats to help raise funds for Age UK.

The pupils were among schoolchildren from across the country who took part in the charity’s Warm Up Britain this Bobble Day on Friday (February 7). The children at the Hampden Park School also wore bobbles and paid a donation for the privilege. They could buy bobble badges and a cake sale at the school helped to boost further funds.

The charity called on residents to dig out their woolly jumpers or go for a winter walk to help boost the charity’s coffers.
