A group of Upper Fifth and Lower Sixth Bede’s girls completing their Silver Arts Award course went to Park Mead Primary School in Upper Dicker to teach a class of students aged nine-11 the Samba drums.

Samba drums was the chosen activity to help the girls learn new skills to complete their award.

Students Alice Potter, Daisy Bennett, Hannah Roberts, Molly Chester, Matilda Homer and Tilly Maher spent a term learning various samba pieces from Samba Reggae to Samba Funk and then they demonstrated and passed on these skills to the younger students of Park Mead.
