Eastbourne’s Read Aloud group launched its anthology of members’ work this month at the Central Library.

Read Aloud is a group of volunteers who run a weekly session at Eastbourne Library. The groups are shared reading groups run by trained facilitators who choose poems and short stories to share with the group. However, now the group will be able to read a collection of their own writing after the anthology, called ‘Rag Time’ was launched earlier this month. Vice chair of East Sussex County Council Cllr Michael Ensor and Mayor of Eastbourne Cllr Mike Thompson attended the launch with some volunteers.
