Concern is growing for a teenager who has gone missing from his foster home in Eastbourne.
Bekim Ferati is an Albanian asylum seeker with no family in the UK. He was living in Sorrel Drive until he went missing on Sunday (February 9). He was last seen at 10.45am.
PC Tom Dunn said, “We are appealing for any information that may lead to the discovery of Bekim’s whereabouts so that his welfare can be assured.
“He did not tell anyone where he was going and although he has stated his age as 17, it is suspected that he could be as young as 12 or 14.
“He may have gone to the Croydon area with an associate. He speaks little to no English and has very little money.”
Bekim is described as white, 5’ 3”, with black, short curly hair, brown eyes and was wearing a green and grey horizontal striped jumper, grey jogging bottoms, white Reebok trainers with an orange flash and a black three quarter length puffa jacket.
Anyone who knows where Bekim is or has seen him, should call police on 101 quoting serial 1232 of 09/2.
