A past president of the Eastbourne Law Society was invited to attend the Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
Mark Williams, partner at the Eastbourne-based law firm Gaby Hardwicke Solicitors was joined by his wife Emma on the Palace lawns.
The invitation was issued to him in recognition of his Law Society presidency which ended in April this year.

He also organised various talks and educational seminars, hosted a black tie dinner dance at the Grand Hotel and established a website for the Society.
Mark said, “I was tremendously honoured to be invited to the Palace and it was a fabulous end to a thoroughly enjoyable year as President.”
Mark joined Gaby Hardwicke in 1996 and led most of the firm’s high-value corporate and commercial transactions, including acting for clients based in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and America.
He specialises in corporate finance and transactions, acting in deals to a value of £20 million.
