Chestnut Tree House, the only children’s hospice in Sussex, is reminding women who wish to take part in the annual Night to Remember midnight walk that registration closes on May 2.
Entries to the walk must be pre-registered by this date to avoid disappointment.
The charity fundraiser, which takes place at midnight on Saturday May 17 around the streets and seafront of Eastbourne, will bring together hundreds of women under the stars to raise money for the hospice. This year there are two distances to choose from. The new four mile route adds to the popular 10 mile course, so more people can join in the fun while raising money for a local cause.
The night begins with a group warm-up session before the walkers begin their journey from The Sovereign Centre in Eastbourne.
After walking along the promenade to Sovereign Harbour and looping around, the ladies will then make their way towards Holywell and back to the Sovereign Centre, taking in the beautiful sight of Eastbourne Pier at night. Ladies opting for the four mile route will return to the Sovereign Centre after the harbour route.
Chestnut Tree House event organiser Kerry O’Neill said, “Unfortunately, entries cannot be accepted after the closing date or on the night.”
