Hundreds pound the streets for Eastbourne Half Marathon

Hundreds of competitors tackled the Eastbourne Half Marathon on Sunday (March 2).

The first runner past the finish line, after 13.1 miles of pounding the streets from Princes Park, up to Meads, along the seafront to the harbour, and back to Princes Park again was Stephen Wrapson.

Stephen, from the Horsham Amphibians, finished in a time of 1.19.14.

The first woman past the finish line was Yvette Grice, from Bodyworks XTC, who recorded a time of 1.26.04 and 20th place.

A total of 1,366 runners, joggers and walkers crossed the finish line.
