The town is gearing up for an exciting weekend of sports in a few weeks’ time as Eastbourne Extreme comes to the seafront.
Last year, the weekend was a huge success attracting around 25,000 people over the two days. This year, the event is set to be bigger and better with attractions at Princes Park, Fort Fun Car Park, the Eastern Promenade, The Skate Park, Fisherman’s Green tennis courts and the surrounding beaches.
Eastbourne Extreme takes place on July 12 and July 13 and will include BMX and skate displays, roller derby and lots of activity on the water including windsurfing and paddle boarding. In addition visitors can expect a zorb-arena, a new longer zip wire, a live music stage and ‘Screen on the Green’ showing the Fifa World Cup third place match on Saturday evening and the world cup final on Sunday evening.
