Concern is growing over plans to turn a house in Westham High Street into a half way house for addicts. Kingdom Way Trust is behind the plan to create the home for six men, who will be given support to stay clean from addictions and turn their lives around.

Traders and residents are against the plan and say it is too close to the school and should not be in a village setting. They have taken their concerns to MP Greg Barker and Wealden District Council which is dealing with plan to turn the house into a house of multiple occupation.
