The eighth Hailsham Festival of Arts and Culture 2014 offers a lively 10-day programme of diverse and innovative events with the multicultural theme being India.
It will run from September 10-21.
Apart from an extensive art trail festival highlights include a jazz and rock community choir, film, competitions, poetry, art history, music, dance, live theatre, workshops, children’s sports show and a barn dance.
The festival art exhibition features a vibrant series of paintings based on Indian street life and the nationally acclaimed dance company Bhangracise will perform both traditional dance and highly-energetic contemporary Bollywood and Bhangra at the festival finale on September 20 (7.30pm) at the Hailsham Pavilion.

“Hailsham is an expanding town with an ever-increasing population.
“As the festival organisers we have tried to ensure there is a variety of events which reflect the eclectic mix and ages within our community.
