“Dance World Cup in Portugal here we come. Well done to all my fabulous girls and boys for qualifying for this years Dance World Cup representing Team England.”
The dance school, based in Hailsham, is now launching a major fundraising campaign as it needs in the region of £12,000 to get the dancers across to Portugal.
The campaign has already been well supported by local businesses who have donated and the dance team will be hosting a number of fundraising events between now and June.
They hope the local community will come along and support them.
The Dance World Cup is on The Algarve from Sunday June 29 - Saturday July 5.
It will bring together more than 18,000 children around the world aged four to 25 trying to qualify for the final which is held annually in a different location. Previous locations for Dance World Cup include Jersey, Sardinia, France, Paris and Austria.
Dance World Cup is open to anyone who attends a dance school that is not state run and competitors will take part in classical ballet, modern, tap, song and dance, street dance, hip hop and national dance.
One of the first fundraisers the girls are running is a sponsored cycling event on Sunday March 30 between 10.30am and 6pm at Hailsham Leisure Centre.
