THE TOWN’S children were given a half-term treat when popular Peppa Pig dropped in to Eastbourne’s ASDA store.
Families flocked to the supermarket on the Crumbles Retail Park to see the character.
Peppa Pig met the children and balloons were handed out to the youngsters.
The event was a fundraiser for a charity called Tommy’s, which aims to give babies the best chance of being born healthy. It provides information and research on the causes and prevention of miscarriages, stillbirths and premature babies.
Representatives from Tommy’s were shaking buckets for the charity as the little ones met Peppa Pig.
