Cannabis find after Eastbourne police called to break in

Cannabis plants were found in a house in Park Avenue after police were called to the property after reports that two men were trying to break in.

Officers arrived at the house at 7.20pm on February 5 to find a quantity of cannabis plants and equipment being used in their cultivation.

Detective Inspector Richard Bates, of Eastbourne CID, said, “Enquiries into this incident are continuing and I would ask anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, people or vehicles in Park Avenue to contact police.”
