Police are appealing for information after thieves stole Christmas presents from a Seaford home.
Among items taken in the burglary were a pair of Swarovski crystal earrings and a necklace.
The property in Cuckmere Road was targeted sometime between 11am on Christmas Eve and 3pm on Friday December 27 after entry was gained by forcing open a rear kitchen door.
A number of distinctive items were stolen in the burglary, including four replica watches – a Panerai Marina with a stainless steel strap, an IWC Big pilot watch with a black face and strap, a Hublot with a black face and gold coloured bezel and a Frank Miller with a square shaped black face and a gold bezel.
Although copies, these are thought to be worth several hundred pounds.
Also stolen was about £50 in one pound coins, as well as a quantity of wrapped Christmas presents.
These included a pair of Swarovski crystal earrings, a Swarovski crystal necklace, a ‘Tea Pigs’ teapot, a pair of black leather gloves, an iPhone car connector, a ‘Toys R Us’ book of faces, and a Bayliss and Harding tower.
The total value of these items is approximately £415.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
Sergeant Stuart Mullins said, “The items stolen are quite identifiable, and taken as a whole pretty unique.
“If anybody tries to give you or sell you any similar items please contact us via 101 or email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting serial 0946 of 27/12, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“The thieves tried to ruin someone’s Christmas so perhaps we can now spoil their New Year.”
