A woman has died in a crash at Pevensey this morning (Tuesday March 4).
Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision between a coach and a Mini in Wartling Road at 7.35am.
The 54-year-old woman driver of the Mini, from East Sussex, died of her injuries at the scene. The coach driver, a 43-year-old man from Eastbourne, was injured and taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. No-one else was involved in the collision.
Sergeant Paul Wood said, “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision which involved a blue Mini and a white single decker coach.
“We would also like to thank the local community for their patience while the road was closed and scene investigations carried out.”
