A five month old baby girl was among those involved in a car crash on Victoria Drive last night (Wednesday).
The accident happened at 6.48pm near its junction with Broomfield Street.
A black Ford Focus and a white Vauxhall Corsa were the vehicles involved.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a 26-year-old local man, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the Eastbourne District General Hospital where he was detained for treatment.
Also taken to the EDGH for treatment to minor injuries and not detained were a passenger in the Vauxhall, a 27-year-old local woman, and the driver of the Ford, a 26-year-old local man. A five-month-old baby girl in the Vauxhall was uninjured.
