Police are growing concerned for an Eastbourne woman who has not been seen since Sunday (February 2).
Nicola Baron was last seen on Sunday after going to the Spar shop on Terminus Road, where she worked as the store manager, at 6am and left there about 7am.
She then got a taxi from her home at 7.50am to Eastbourne train station. She has not been seen since.
The 52-year-old, who lives in Seaside, Eastbourne, was wearing a red knee length puffa-style jacket made by Cotton Traders and believed to be carrying a large, heavy suitcase.
Sergeant Mark Simmonds said, “Nicola has not turned up to work on Monday or today and has left her cat at home, both of which is extremely out of character for her.
“She usually speaks to her sister everyday but has not heard from her since Sunday. She lives in Eastbourne and has connections in East Sussex and in the Canterbury area of Kent.
“Nicola is around 5’ 5” with shoulder length brown hair with a tint of red. We, and her sister, are concerned for her welfare and urge Nicola to please get in touch to let us know she is ok. If anyone has seen her please contact us on 101 quoting serial 1165 of 2/2.”
