Two Eastbourne members of an organised crime group have been convicted of sex trafficking.

The gang, five of whom were standing trial at Hove Crown Court, were found guilty today (Tuesday, January 7) of conspiring to traffic women from Hungary to the UK for sexual exploitation in Eastbourne and other towns.

The Eastbourne pair, Istvan and Peter Toth of St Johns Road, were convicted in their absence. The others convicted were Mate Puskas, of Surrey Street, Croydon, Zoltan Mohacsi, of Cranbrook Road, Ilford, and Victoria Brown, Puskas’s former girlfriend, of Oakley Road, Bognor.
