An Eastbourne fitness trainer is providing a free service on Facebook to help mums get back into shape after having their babies.
Jordan Cruttenden’s Babies and Burpees page provides bite-size exercise videos, food plans and motivational commentary for mothers wanting to improve their fitness level and lose weight without the high cost of gym membership.
And the page is proving a hit, with 1,300 ‘likes’ registered in the first month after its launch.
Jordan is a trained Pilates instructor and is also qualified in coaching pre and post natal fitness.
She has filled the Babies and Burpees page with a variety of interval-based exercises of 10 and 20 minutes each with options for beginners to advanced. She takes followers through the moves, often with her own children and their toys in the background, answers questions and posts photos of her own meals and snacks to show she practices what she preaches.
Jordan says, “Each video is interval based, meaning quick, intense exercises with periods of rest, that won’t take any longer than 20 minutes. They are designed to prove that time and space shouldn’t be an issue as you’ll usually see my kids in the background and me dodging a toy or two.
“It’s fun, and kids can get involved as well. I wanted to prove that this type of training can work and I am living proof it does.”
One of the recent users of the page posted a comment saying, “I have a four-year-old and a two-year-old and hated my body after having them. I had put on over two stone and it just wouldn’t budge. Your videos and bubbly motivation has helped me back on to the road to becoming me again and I can’t thank you enough. I love your natural persona and also the fact your house is covered in toys and children.”
