Arrest for theft of old police mobiles

A member of staff at Sussex Police has been arrested on suspicion of stealing old mobile phones belonging to officers and selling them on and possessing cocaine.

The 23-year-old man was suspended in July over the allegations and later resigned from his post.

He was questioned and released on police bail until October 26.
