Hailsham Photographic Society’s annual Colour Show took place over the weekend, celebrating its Diamond Jubilee.
The purpose of the show is not only to raise awareness about the club, but also as a fundraiser for a named charity. This year’s charity was the MS Support For Eastbourne and South Wealden.
In third place was ann audio visual ensemble entitled In Winter’s Grip by John Deller to the music Last Breath. Second place was awarded to John Watson for his audio visual called Le Marche, set to the Floral Dance, Blackbottom and Paris Cafe music.
Winners were Lynette Benton and Jean Mills for their audio visuial Viginia, with narration about Virgiina Wolfe, The Monks House and her death in 1941.
The show was opened by chairman Ray Beckwith and Hailsham Mayor Jo Bentley presented the prizes, and a cheque for £1,000 on behalf of the club to MS Support For Eastbourne and South Wealden.
