Adele’s most popular in library’s top ten CD listing

LIBRARY-GOERS in the Eastbourne area have obviously been lapping up Adele’s latest album just like the rest of the music world.

East Sussex County Council, which runs the library services locally, recently publised a top ten list of CDs which have been borrowed by its members over the last year.

And right at top of the tree was 21 by the all-conquering Adele.

The award-winning record was joined by + by Ed Sheeran, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Velociraptor by Kasabian.

It was not just modern acts who finished high up in the polls though.

Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon also featured near the top, as did Kate Bush’s Director’s Cut.
