Unconfirmed sightings of missing Megan

A NUMBER of unconfirmed sightings of 15-year-old Megan and her maths teacher Jeremy Forrest have been reported in France.

The Bishop Bell pupil, believed to be on the run in France with 30-year-old Forrest, is the subject of a massive cross-Channel search after she was reported missing on Friday. Police know she crossed the Channel with Forrest on Thursday evening and they are working with French authorities to trace the pair.

This lunchtime, Sussex Police confirmed there had been sightings in France but explained they were unconfirmed.

The police said they were following them up with the French authorities and were also working with the UK Borders Agency and the British Embassy in France.

The search is continuing and anyone with information about them, should ring Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Oakwood.
