A BLAZE has destroyed a seafront building in Eastbourne this morning (Monday).

Fire crews and police were called to the fire at a storage building beyhind the Sovereign Centre at 6.30am.

The building is believed to have been used to store jet skis.

The area was cordoned off as firefighters kept the blaze under control for more than two hours.

It is not yet clear how the fire started and Eastbourne Borough Counciol is currently trying to locate the owner of the building.
